Points to keep in mind before directory submission!
Keep following points in mind while doing directory submiision
1) Do not submit your website to FFA or more than 100 directories in a day. Do delayed submissions.
2) Don’t submit to group directories or group of directories owned by single owner. Most of these directories hosted on same IP.
3) Avoid spammed directories.
4) Use multi titles for variation. Do atleast 10% deep urls submission.
5) Use multi descriptions to avoid duplicate contents and useful surrounding text for anchor texts.
6) Submit to deep related categories. As this will increase rate of approval. A site on Motor insurance should be submitted to:
Top : Business and Economy: Financial Services: Insurance: Motor

Top : Business and Economy:

How to choose titles for directory submissions
Titles are very important for search engine ranking. Title which is being used for directory submissions is the anchor text which is the visible, clickable text in a hyperlink. The words contained in the Anchor text also very useful to determine the ranking that the page will receive by search engines. So be careful while choosing Anchor texts or titles.
1) Research proper keywords related to your business or services. Use following keyword suggestion tools to determine or estimate search volume for any keyword.

To drive some or quickly customers to your websites, it’s recommended not to choose high competitive keywords.
For example if your website is selling electronics goods in California.
